Mead or honey wine is an ancient alcoholic beverage made from fermented honey water. In this class, you will not only meet expert brewers and learn about the history of this famous fermented drink, but you will get to taste a range of mead flavor combinations! The session will be run in partnership with expert brewers Groennfell & Havoc.

How to prepare your workspace
Refrigerate your mead cans if you have access to a refrigerator. Just before the class, clear a small space and line up your mead cans and your clear glasses.

Is mead alcoholic?
Yes, mead is an alcoholic beverage. Therefore this event is only available to participants aged 21 and older.
I've never tried mead before. Will I like it?
Much like beer, cider, or wine, there are many different types of mead. It does have a unique flavor, however most people enjoy it! The meads in this class are lightly carbonated, have a lower ABV than common meads, and are packaged in a craft container. The finish is slightly dry so it's drinkable and refreshing.
Where can I find the video call link?
In most cases, you can find the link to your video call in your calendar invite or in an email that your event organizer sent you. If you can't find it, contact your event organizer.
My kit hasn't arrived. What should I do?
It's rare, but sometimes mail gets lost or delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. If you gave us your email address when signing up, you would have received tracking information when it was dispatched so you can see your package's location and can contact the carrier directly. If you're still having no luck, let your event organizer know, and we'll do our best to get you a replacement kit asap.
Can you send me step-by-step instructions after the event?
If you'd like to receive written instructions for the experience so you can do it again, just ask the instructor. They can send out the instructions to your event organizer after the class ends!
